Little is known about Donald Pogson. He was thought to be on the Ground staff with Leeds United in the War Years. He only played one game for Leeds United in the 1945-46 Football League Northern Section at Left Back on 27th April 1946 in a 2-3 defeat by Huddersfield Town at Leeds Road. "Pogson appeared in a few games for Leeds United Reserves in March and April 1946. Then at the start of 1946-47 peace–time season, he was regular choice in the Reserves, but soon fell down pecking order and by the New Year he was a regular Yorkshire League choice. At end of 1946-47 season he was given a free transfer.(Information kindly supplied by Neil Roche). It is not thought that Pogson played professionally in the Football League.
