allowed to play for his school team again. In only Weston's second appearance for Millwall's

beating the one hundred and twenty-five-year old record of James F. M. Prinsep. He was
brought on to replace the then, Player-Manager Dennis Wise with two minutes of the match
remaining. Weston moved to Swindon in July 2006, re-uniting him with Wise, having started
twice in the League, appeared as a substitute twice in the League and Twice in the FA Cup
while at the Den. He was released by Swindon a year later, having scored once and started
twenty-one League games with another six appearances from the bench. He also scored once in
three starts and one game as a substitute in the Cups and other competitions. He signed a
two year contract with Leeds United on 7th August 2007 and was reunited with Dennis Wise
once more. He scored his first goal for the club in their 3-0 win over Northampton Town in
January 2008. Weston joined CCCL side Scunthorpe United on loan, in March 2008 and played
seven times, of which five were as substitute before returning to Leeds. In August 2008,
Weston joined Gillingham, initially on a one month loan, but he cancelled his Leeds contract
and signed a two year contract with the Gills on 27th August 2008. He made his Gillingham
debut in the 1–1 draw away to AFC Bournemouth on 9th August 2008 and scored his first goal
for the club on 28th December 2008 against Wycombe Wanderers. Prior to the 2009/10 season
Weston signed an extension to his contract that tied him to the Gills until 2011/12. He had
scored eleven goals in eighty-four League appearances, of which five were as a substitute, he
had also scored twice in seven F.A. Cup ties, played twice without scoring in the League Cup,
and started once and played one Johnstone's Paint Trophy game from the bench and started
three League Two play-off Finals games without scoring by the end of the 2009-10 season.
