Little is known about Jack Tremelling. He was thought to have been on the books of Wolverhampton Wanderers. He played two games for Leeds United in the 1943-44 Football League Northern Section First Championship. He was at Centre Forward for Leeds as they lost 1-5 to Sunderland at Elland Road with Tremelling getting the only Leeds goal. He played his second and final game for Leeds a few weeks later against Gateshead on 9th October 1943, and scored a hat-trick in the Leeds 5-2 victory at Elland Road. It is not thought that Tremelling played professionally in the Football League.
