Little is known about R.D. Pyke, but it is thought that he may have been with Wrexham at the time he guested with Leeds. He played one game for Leeds United in the 1942-43 Football League Northern Section (Second Championship). He played his game at Outside Left on 27th March 1943 in a 5-4 win over Newcastle United at St James’ Park. It is not thought that Pyke played professionally in the Football League.
