Peacock-Farrell joined the Middlesbrough Academy but was released before he reached the scholarship stage, as they had
several high-class goalkeepers of a similar age and he was deemed surplus to requirements. He joined the Leeds Academy in
2013 and, after a two years apprenticeship, he signed his first professional contract in June 2015. By then he had already started
four and come off the bench once for the Under-Eighteen team in 2013-14 and ten starts and two games from the bench in 2014-15.
In the 2015-16 season he started in one game for the Under-Eighteens and eleven games for the Under-Twenty-Ones before being
elevated into a bench role for the first team. He had started the season behind Marco Silvestri, Ross Turnbull, Charlie Horton and Irish
Under-Twenty-One International, Eric Grimes. Ross Turnbull, who had started in the League Cup and been on the bench for the first
ten League games, had the misfortune to break his ankle in training on 14th October 2015. This gave Charlie Horton the bench role
behind Silvestri and he was the deputy for the next seven League games. But at the start of November he had family matters that
required him in the USA and he was duly released from his contract, leaving the two youngsters as the only fit cover for Silvestri. On
14th November 2016, Peacock-Farrell was chosen for the bench in a friendly against Wycombe Wanderers and given four minutes
on the pitch as United cruised to a 2-0 win. He was also on the bench for the first team in the 0-1 loss to Rotherham United on 21st
November and remained Silvestri's deputy for the rest of the season, being on the bench for twenty-seven League and three F.A.
Cup ties to the end of the season. He missed only two games on the bench when Eric Grimes took over. The first was when he was
ill and missed the 2-1 win at Ewood Park against Blackburn Rovers on 12th March 2016 and after Silvestri had been sent off at
Rotherham United on 2nd April 2016, after United had used their three substitutes, and he then missed the home game against
Queens Park Rangers on 5th April 2016, due to suspension and Peacock-Farrell was given his debut. He made the best of his
opportunity and had looked likely to keep a clean sheet, which he did until the eighty-seventh minute, when Giuseppe Bellusci gave
away a senseless penalty and Tjaronn Chery gave him no chance with the ensuing spot-kick. On 26th April 2016 he was offered a
two year contract extension which he duly signed on 9th June 2016. He was given the number thirty jersey for the 2016-17 season,
being third in seniority after Rob Green and Marco Silvestri. However, he had little chance to improve on that as he had to have
surgery after he had broken a bone in his hand on 13th October 2016, but after only making the bench in the 1-2 defeat in the F.A.
Cup by Sutton United on 29th January 2017, he moved back into the deputy spot after Marco Silvestri was injured early in April
2017, which saw him on the bench for the final six League games. On 9th July 2017 he signed a new three year contract for United
and was almost immediately sent on trial to Oldham Athletic for the pre-season, with a view to a season long loan to give him more
League experience, but it did not eventuate as Oldham did not take up the option. There was much change to the United keepers in
the pre-season and early 2017-18 season. Felix Wiedwald was bought from Werder Bremen on 1st July 2017, which left Rob Green
with competition for the number one spot, with Marco Silvestri third choice. Silvestri left on 19th July 2017, elevating Peacock-Farrell
to third. After Wiedwald appeared to be first choice, Rob Green left for Huddersfield Town on 27th August 2017, but on the same day
Andy Lonergan was signed from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a two-year contract and took over Rob Green's number one jersey in
August 2017, with Peacock-Farrell in third ranking, once more. He started just seven games for the Under-Twenty-Threes in 2017-18
as he he spent time on the bench in four League, one F.A. Cup and two League Cup games before finally being given the first-team
jersey for the final eleven games of the campaign. He further cemented his position with the advent of Marcelo Bielsa, who gave him
the #1 jersey and he repaid his faith with several outstanding performances, conceding just nine goals in the first twelve games of the
League season in which he was an ever-present. Although he was Durham born, his grandfather, Jim Farrell was Enniskillen born
and that meant that he was qualified to play for Northern Ireland. Gareth Southgate also pursued him from the England point of view
and he chose the Republic and on 23rd May 2017 he was called up to the Northern Ireland senior squad for a training camp. On 28th
August 2017 he was called up to Northern Ireland senior squad for FIFA World Cup qualification fixtures against San Marino and the
Czech Republic. He sat on the bench for the Northern Ireland Under-Twenty-One team on 22nd March 2018 as they were beaten 3-5
by the Spain Under-Twenty-Ones at Shamrock Park, home of Portadown. Four days later he made his debut at the Showgrounds,
Coleraine, when he played the full ninety minutes and kept a cleansheet in a 0-0 draw. He made his Northern Ireland National team
debut in a Friendly at Estadio Rommel Fernandez Gutierrez in Panama on 30th May 2018 when he replaced Trevor Carson after
half-time in a 0-0 draw. He followed this on 3rd June 2018 as he sat unused on the bench at Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica as the
home team triumphed 0-3. His first competitive appearance was in the UEFA Nations League B, Group 3 on 8th September 2018
as Northern Ireland were defeated at Windsor Park, by Bosnia-Herzegovina 1-2 as Peacock-Farrell played the full game. Three
days later he was again on the bench and was unused as Israel were defeated at Windsor Park in a Friendly. He played two full
games to bring his full caps to four as Northern Ireland were twice beaten on the road in the UEFA Nations League B, Group 3. On
12th October 2018, at Ernst-Happel-Stadion, Vienna they were defeat by Austria 0-1 and three days later Bosnia-Herzegovina won
0-2 at Grbavica Stadion in Serajevo.
