Born: Leeds: 24-11-1968

Debut: Nil

5'10" 10st 5lb (1985)

A former Pupil of Corpus Christi School, he represented Leeds City Boys at Under-Fourteen and Under-Fifteen levels and West Yorkshire Boys at Under-Fifteen. He signed Schoolboy forms for United in November 1983 and Apprentice forms in July 1985. He made one appearance for the Juniors in 1984-85 season, as a substitute and then played regularly in the midfield in 1985-86. He was called up to the first team on 23rd November 1985 and was the substitute but was not called upon as United scored a fine 2-1 away victory in front of an extremely small 3,504 crowd. By the halfway mark of that season he had graduated to the bench for the Reserve side, making his Reserve run-on debut in February. 1986-87 saw Fella playing mostly as a substitute for the Juniors but scored a couple of goals from his midfield role and as the David Batty's and Gary Speed's took the spotlight Mark Fella faded from the scene. He later played in Maltese football and in 1994/95 he had six games with Mossley
