Born in Malmo, Sweden of Polish ancestry, Cibicki started his Junior career with Nydala IF as a six year-old in his native city but at the age of ten he joined FC Malmo for a year before joining the City's major team Malmo FF. He progressed through the clubs junior age teams and signed professional forms with them in January 2013. Possessing dual nationality, he was selected for Poland's Under Nineteen team and made his debut for them as a substitute in the sixty-sixth minute for Lukasz Kacprzycki and played twenty-four minutes in the 3-1 home win over Georgia Under-Nineteens at the Stadion MOSiR in Pulawy on 22nd March 2013. It was his only appearance at that level, but he did gain one cap at the Under-Twenty level, when he played a full ninety minutes at Centre Forward in a 0-2 home defeat by Germany on 18th November 2014. It was to be his last representative game for his adopted country as he decided to remain Swedish for full Internationals. He had started in the Under-Nineteen Allsvenskan Sodra with the Malmo FF Under-Nineteens and in the 2012 and 2013 seasons he started twenty-seven games and finished each one with a full ninety minutes and also scored a respectable twenty-one goals in that time. He also started eight times for the Under-Twenty- Ones in the Folksam Under-Twenty-One Allsvenskan Sodra in the 2013 season, playing a full game each time and scoring once. He continued with eleven full games in 2014, netting thirteen goals as he started to be noticed. However, in 2015 his scoring did not keep pace as he scored four in ten starts and two in five starts in the Under-Twenty-One Allsvenskan Slutspelet In the 2013 season he had started to play for the first team, making his debut in the sixty-fifth minute of a 3-1 home win over Gefle IF on 7th July 2013, when he replaced Tokelo Rantie. He started his next match as Malmo beat Atvidabergs FF at home by 4-0 on 14th July 2013 and he had 62 minutes before being replaced by Tokelo Rantie. There were another five games as a substitute in that season and he also sat unused on the bench on nine occasions. He continued to play spasmodically for the Malmo FF first team, but more often than not it was as a substitute or being unused on the bench. In order to get more game time and first team experience he went on a season long loan to loan to Jonkopings Sodra IF on 27th January 2016, where he made twenty-four starts in the Allsvenskan and twice came on as a substitute to score nine goals, and also started two and was a substitute once in the Svenska Cupen, but did not score, before returning on 30th November 2016. He made his debut and scored the only goal in the fifteenth minute in a 1-0 win at Kalmar FF on 2nd April 2016. He played at Centre Forward, a position in which he featured regularly and was replaced by Jesper Svensson after sixty-seven minutes. It was while at Jonkopings Sodra IF that he was first selected for the Swedish Under-Twenty-One team. It was on 1st September 2016 when he played a full ninety minutes ast Centre Forward as Sweden drew 1-1 with Croatia at the Gradski Stadion in the UEFA European Under-Twenty-One Championship qualifiers and he opened the scoring in the fifty-second minute. It was to be his only goal at that level. He quickly took his caps to four in the same competition, when four days later he started on the Left Wing at the Malo Stadion as Sweden were held to a 1-12 draw at home by Spain and Cibicki was replaced after sixty-two minutes by Jordan Larsson. There was a full game at Centre Forward on 6th October 2016 as Sweden won 3-0 over Estonia at the Pärnu Rannastaadion. Four days later in the reverse fixture with Croatia Sweden were 4-2 winners at Vangavallen as he was replaced at Centre Forward by Joel Asoro after sixty-two minutes. After his return to Malmo FF he regularly started games, mostly at Centre Forward or on either wing and had scored twelve goals in Eighty-one appearances before leaving the club. This comprised three games as a substitute, and two games unused on the bench in UEFA Champions League games with another two starts and four games from the bench , and another four in which he remained unused on the bench in the UEFA Champions League Qualifying Rounds, together with one start and three from the bench with two in which he remained an unused substitute. In the Allsvenskan he Started Thirty, came on a a substitute in Twenty-Seven and remained unused on the bench thirty-one times, while scoring eleven goals and in the Svenska Cupen he started three, came on as a substitute eight times and remained on the bench three times when unused in scoring one goal. He took his International caps for the Sweden Under-Twenty-Ones to ten with three caps in friendlies and three more in the 2017 European Under-Twenty-One Football Championship In the first Friendly, he made a substitute appearance on 24th March 2017 in a 0-2 defeat by Serbia at the Marbella Football Center, when he replaced Gustav Engvall in the seventy-second minute. Three days later he started at Centre Forward in a 4-0 win over the Czech Republic Under-Twenty team at the the same venue and played a full game. Then on 10th June 2017 he started at Centre Forward against Denmark in a 0-2 defeat at the Olympia Stadion and was replaced by Joel Asoro after seventy-three minutes. The first of the three European Championship games took place at the Suzuki Arena in Kielce, Poland and he played a full game at centre forward in a 0-0 draw with England on 16th June 2017. Three days later he again played the ninety minutes at Centre Forward at the Arena Lublin in a 2-2 draw with hosts Poland. Three days subsequent to that he was again at Centre Forward at the same venue when he started but was replaced at Half-Time by Niclas Eliasson in a 0-3 defeat by Slovakia. On 31st August 2017 Cibicki signed a four year contract with Leeds after he had passed the club's medical examination . The fee was reported as being £1.45m for the Centre Forward or Winger who had attracted the attention of Manchester United and Ajax with his performances for the Swedish Under-Twenty-One team in the European Under-Tweny-One Championships in Poland. Napoli, Celta Vigo and Real Betis were also all thought to be keen. He was handed the number 22 shirt at Elland Road. After three times sitting unused on the bench as Leeds beat Burton Town 5-0 at home on 9th September 2017, then as they scored twice without reply in another home victory three days later, followed by a 0-1 defeat at the Den by Millwall on 16th September 2017, he made his Leeds debut in the League Cup clash with Burnley at Turf Moor on 19th September 2017, as United pulled off a fine win on penalties after the scores were locked at 2-2. He had started the game in Central Midfield and played seventy-nine minutes before being replaced by Pablo Hernandez. He was next in the squad as an unused substitute in the 0-1 home defeat by Reading on 14th October 2017 before being called up again in the Fourth Round of the League Cup at Leicester City on 24th October 2017. He started at Centre Forward and was prominent as Leeds took an early twenty-sixth minute lead before the EPL side threw everything at them. He was replaced by Hadi Sacko after sixty-five minutes and had to wait until the 3-1 away win at Queens Park Rangers on 9th December 2017 before next being included in the squad. This game saw one of Leeds' best performances of the season as he replaced Caleb Ekuban at Centre Forward after thirty-eight minutes. His performance earned him a start in the 1-0 home win over Norwich City at home a week later, in which he played eighty-five minutes before being replaced by Matthew Pennington as Leeds looked to consolidate their defence to preserve their narrow lead. A week later he was on the right wing for the full game with Hull City, which resulted in another 1-0 home win. He started the next game ay Burton Albion on Boxing Day as United again won, this time 2-1, as their unbeaten run continued, but he was replaced by Pierre-Michel Lasogga in the seventy-fifth minute. He then started the next match on 30th December 2017 at St Andrews' on the Right Wing in a 0-1 defeat by Birmingham City. He played fifty-five minutes before being replaced by Samu Saiz. On 1st January he remained unused on the bench as United played out a 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest at Elland Road. There was a full game on the Left Wing as United were eliminated by Newport County from the F.A. Cup at the Third Round stage on 7th January 2018. He was again a starter on the Right Wing at Ipswich Town on 13th January 2018, but was injured after twenty-nine minutes and had to be replaced by Hadi Sacko as Leeds suffered a 0-1 away defeat. He was fit again to take his place on the bench for the home game with Millwall, on 20th January 2018, but sat unused as United were defeated 3-4. He was again in the squad for the trip to Hull City on 30th January 2018, but did not come on until two minutes into injury time as United drew 0-0 in what was his final sighting on the pitch for the season. He did sit on used on the bench in the 1-2 loss at Sheffield United on 10th February 2018, in the 1-0 home win over Brentford two weeks later and in the 0-2 away defeat by Fulham on 3rd April 2018. He did have one game at Under-Twenty-Three level and scored twice in a 3-2 win over Sheffield Wednesday at home on 23rd February 2018, but the signs were ominous and it came as little surprise when, on 3rd July 2018, he was signed by Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and loaned to Norwegian Eliteserien Molde FK until 31st December 2018. He made his competitive debut for Molde FK on 26 July 2018, starting on the Right Wing, in the UEFA Europa League Qualifiers Second Round, first leg, in a 3–0 home victory against KF Laci, in which he played sixty-five minutes before being replaced by Magnus Wolff Eikrem. He then featured for thirty minutes in the reverse fixture, in a 2-0 away win after coming on for Magnus Wolff Eikrem on the hour. In the Third Round First Leg in the 0-0 away draw at Hibernian FC he only saw couple of minutes of the action after replacing Eirik Hestad one minute into injury-time. However, he did start the reverse fixture, on the Left Wing, on16th August 2018 before giving way to Magnus Wolff Eikrem after fifty-seven minutes. In the final two games of the Qualifying Round against Zenit St. Petersburg, he sat unused in the away leg on 23rd August 2018 as Molde went down 1-3 and it proved too much for Molde FK as they could only manage a 2-1 win in the reverse fixture a week later which saw Cibicki come off the bench after replacing Fredrik Aursnes in the seventy-first minute and although he made the second goal for Erling Braut Haland six minutes later it was not enough. In that Competition he had started twice, come on as a substitute three times and sat unused on the bench once. He had started his Eliteserien League appearances with a debut on 5th August 2018 at Lillestom on the Left Wing. Even though he made the first Molde FK goal in a 2-2 away draw for Fredrik Aursnes after thirty-eight minutes, he was replaced by Fredrik Brustad after fifty-nine. A week later he scored his only goal to date in a 5-1 home win over League leaders SK Brann, as he made the score 2-0 after twenty minutes, but was replaced after fifty-six minutes by Petter Strand. He continued to feature regularly and had started six and been a substutute once and an ever-present since his debut.
