5’8” 11st 3lb (1926)

He began with Ashfield and was able to play either full back positions, but was more comfortable at left back. He was described as being “speedy with a dashing style”, when he joined Leeds from Airdrie in June 1925. He Left for Third Lanark in July 1928. He returned south in 1929 to join Coventry City but never made a first team appearance for the midland club.
